Kate publishes her poetry and contemporary fiction under her maiden name - Kate Humphrey.

'The Gypsy Crown' has been released in the US by Hyperion Books, with a gorgeous cover painted by Greg Call.
It has just received its first, very favourable review.
Kate was recently interviewed by the Sydney Writers' Centre.
Kate has had a very busy month in August travelling to schools all round Sydney and Canberra, talking about books and writing for Book Week. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff who looked after her so well!
The best book Kate read in August was the Pellinor quartet by Australian author Alison Croggon. (see more)
